Reading Together emphasizes active learning, featuring a carefully sequenced set of experiences that helps students become motivated and independent readers and writers. Students learn strategies for intentional thinking, enhancing their understanding of the text. All language arts – listening, speaking, reading and writing – are practiced in each lesson. Students are exposed to a wide range of texts, including informational and procedural, supporting content in language arts, social studies and science.
